Meeting with representatives of Sosnyachok HOA: overview of best practices of the energy saving projects implemented by Sosnyachok HOA leading to 40% reduction for energy costs through capital repair of the building and individual heat supply station
HOA “Sosnyachok”Home owner’s association “Sosnyachok” received a positive report for the energy saving project "Reconstruction of the heating system with the replacement of pipes and installment of individual heating points № 1 (section 1-4) and №2 (section 5-6)” in the residential building of the HOA "Sosnyachok" at 4 Sosnova Street, Ukrainka city with a budget estimate of 2,104,247.00 UAH.
At the general meeting of the association on 27 January 2018, home owners made a decision to participate in the state program ‘Implementation of energy-efficient measures in residential buildings of the Ukrainian city council for 2017-2020’.
The initial project estimate, according to the expert report, was 2 104 247.00 UAH, including co-financing of the HOA "Sosnyachok for:
- Energoaudit and design and estimate documentation - 32, 910.00 UAH
- Expert examination and design and estimate documentation - 2,424.00 UAH.
- Technical supervision - 9,000,00 UAH.
Up to date, the sub-contracting company has completed installation of two individual heat points (No. 1 in section 1-4 and No.2 in section 5-6) and installed balancing valves on all risers, dismantled elevator nodes.
In October last year, the house began its new heating season with two thermal points with weather-dependent regulation. The replacement and warming of the heating system pipes in the basement has been completed, cranes and valves replaced.
As a result, in November and December, the monthly heating savings for the house comparing with a previous winter period was almost 40%. In 7 months, the HOA ‘Sosnyachok’ is planning to fully repay the loan unless another decision is taken at the general meeting.
